Новая Ега 2007
+описание нового маркера Прото Райл
Our source at Dye refused to let us take any pictures or video, for fear Dave Youngblood would put the beat down on him (or is it her?), but we got up close and personal with the new Proto Rail. A good way to describe the Proto Rail would be a smaller, lighter, Proto Matrix 7. The Rail looks amazing, and since it is based on the spool valve design of the Proto Matrix it will no doubt perform great too. Some key features as we remember them:
Spool valve with basically the same opeartion as the Matrix only no LPR, which makes the gun smaller, cheaper to produce, and lighter.
Aluminum body that looks very similar to the Proto Matrix, only imagine if someone took a Proto Matrix body and made it twice as small.
Low pressure, reduced kick operation
Composite and rubberized trigger and frame. That's the best way we can describe it from memory, but basically the trigger frame is a mix of materials. Bits of rubber here and there, similar to the way with the DMC. The trigger has a very unique and comfortable feel.
Breakbeam eyes
Same regulator as the Dm7/PM7 from the looks of it. Since there is no LPR the main regulator controls the pressure.
Easy disassembly. Basically this gun takes apart like the other Dye guns. Just unscrew the back cap and the guts come out.
The gun has a lot of upgrades in the works for it. Ultralight frames, trigger, replaceable trigger guards, and even a board from Virtue coming soon!
And best of all, the Rail will retail in the $400 range. An awesome value for a high quality Dye/Proto marker. The Rail is so nice that we asked our source if he was worried it would eat into other Dye marker sales! It's that good!
Press releases should be coming some time between now and the World Cup where Dye will debut the Proto Rail as well as the Dm7.
